This is the first time I have ever worked through the process of having letterpress business cards printed – blind deboss, two sided, two colour and a painted edge to finish it off. Sounding complex?
I have to give massive credit to Retro Press for their vision and ideas to help create this business card masterpiece. I originally wanted gold foiling on the card, however the design made things a bit tricky for this process. So Andrew (Master printer from Retro Press) was kind enough to work with me and came up with the idea to print in gold ink instead. And for some extra wow factor, he transformed my background hounds-tooth design into a blind deboss!
The results speak for themselves – a work of art. A win win all round too – Retro Press loved this print challenge, I loved the design challenge, and Ruth my client is simply over the moon!
